Intelligence jobs can be obtained by people with security clearance

Intelligence jobs can be some of the most exciting, rewarding forms of employment in the world, keeping workers on their toes at all times and giving them the sense that their efforts are contributing to the nation's well-being.

While some of these intelligence jobs involve workers performing their duties out in the field, many people work behind the scenes conducting a number of crucial activities including analyzing information, designing software, writing reports and translating foreign documents, according to the government's intelligence website.

According to the site, there are 17 different agencies that comprise the Intelligence Community (IC), including the Department of Defense (DoD), the National Security Agency (NSA), the Department of Energy (DoE), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

In the CIA, those with security clearance can find employment in a variety of sectors, including engineering, science, technology and analysis. These positions can be found throughout the U.S. as well as overseas.

Those with security clearance seeking a new job should consider one of the many intelligence jobs available in the government, as these positions can give a person opportunities they never thought possible.
