Description

Researches, designs, develops and/or delivers training solutions and specialized learning materials for compliance policies/authorities and technologies that support the U.S. Government customer. Responsibilities may also include program support and delivery. Works with functional experts to develop training aids, update training content, and other instructional materials. Ensure all learning programs map to learning objectives and use adult learning principles.

Required

Experience

  • 4-year college degree in related field, or equivalent work experience with instructional design and/or development and/or training.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience specializing in authoring instructional materials including but not limited to course curriculum, instructional aids, handouts, and job aids.
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to access performance outcomes to determine instructional effectiveness of course material
  • Ability to design instructional materials that meet customer objectives
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong detail-oriented analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight or direction

Desired Experience

  • Proficient with Adobe Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).
  • Demonstrate ability to design and develop multimedia and eLearning training products
  • Working knowledge of development of learning objectives; methodologies of lecture, demonstration and practical exercises; adult learning theory and effective use of training aids.
  • Experience in integrating training materials into web browser (e.g., HTML 5, flash, etc.)
  • Familiar with designing and delivering blended classroom, scenario-based, and online training environments.
  • In-depth experience with Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED)
  • Formal instructor training/certification and experience teaching with varied modalities and audiences related to compliance policy.
  • Experience with one or more instructional design models
  • Experience with User Experience (UX) Design and Design Thinking
  • Certified Instructional Designer
