Roles and Responsibilities:
The qualified applicant will design, develop and maintain key components using Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2010 and 2013. The candidate will participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for all tiers of the application: user interface, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc. The applicant should be a key contributor to innovation and build proof of concept examples that can be leveraged across current and future software release versions.

Collaborate with customer leadership to create SharePoint solutions that meet customer needs and adhere to established standards.
Provide operational and technical support to sub-site owners, end users and content managers.
Work with enterprise SharePoint technology teams to resolve issues and address change.
Design, develop and support .NET SharePoint custom solutions including workflows and web parts, including SQL reporting services.
o Performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
o Create storyboards, detailed and comprehensive wireframes, workflows, prototypes, and requirements that effectively communicate the information design and interaction design.
Monitor site usage and make recommendations to customer leadership as appropriate.
Architecture and design of SharePoint implementations using best practices.
Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions Microsoft .NET development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform.
Design and development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
Provide training, demonstrations, and other œengagement  support to leadership as needed.
Ensure secure coding practices are adhered to in all phases of the secure development lifecycle. Be knowledgeable in all NGC CMS Programs HIPAA compliance requirements and proactively address any HIPAA concerns. Become knowledgeable on the HIPAA policies and procedures for the program and ensure awareness of HIPAA breach process.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
3 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications. .
2 years of experience with SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Office SharePoint Server 2010, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Business Data Catalog and Web Services) in a variety of business environments.
Solid understanding of knowledge management, information management, how SharePoint fits together, governance forums, etc.
Sound understanding of Web Application Development Architecture, Design Layout, Solutions, Collecting Requirements, Workflows, Reporting Standardization; Gathering/Reviewing/Assessing Content, Outcome and Finding
Strong knowledge of the .NET framework (C#) and associated technologies
Strong knowledge of Development/Admin CSOM, REST, CAML; Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks; .NET & MVC Web Development; Database Management, SQL; HTML/HTML5; CSS2/CSS3; JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJ; JSON, JavaScript , Web Traffic Analysis
Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Microsoft Office Development.
Experience with Web Services (WCF).
Ability to integrate with a team and work well with others.
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Creative and strong customer-oriented mindset.
Ability to present and clearly understand and articulate technology issues, initiatives, and the pro/cons of alternatives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Experience in government contracting environment.
Knowledge of CDC culture, mission, and IT environment.
Microsoft SharePoint Certification a plus.
Experience working with Agile (Scrum) project team development environments.
