Realize the rewards of conquering a new challenge. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Advanced Tactical Networks Operating Unit Business Management team supporting the JCREW I1B1 Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contract and associated product contracts.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Financial/Cost Control Analyst 4 include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Successful cost / schedule control and management of a mixed portfolio of contract types under the JCREW contract, ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures and government cost control guidelines, while maximizing cost savings and profit. This effort include preparation of EVMS reporting associated with budget baseline, Estimate at Complete (LRE), joint assessment of Risk and Opportunity and preparation of internal format1 Cost Performance Report and customer IPMR.
- Prepares and reviews budgets and schedules for contract work and performs financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
- Lead Business Management Teams including representatives as appropriate from program management, contracts, engineering, mission assurance, and subcontracts as assigned.
- Leading and participating in project review meetings as required. Representing Northrop Grumman at cost review meetings with external customers
- Main focal point for successful and thorough Operating Unit internal planning and reporting as assigned
- Performs analyses in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Critical contributor for business proposals and analysis
- Independent business partner who provides professional skepticism.

Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 10 years of experience or Masters with 8 years of experience in program control, financial planning/reporting, accounting and/or analysis.
- Previous experience compiling, analyzing and presenting information to management and customers.
- Detailed understanding of EVMS reporting requirements and background in EVMS software tool (MPM, Cobra, for example)
- Prior experience in government contract program control role and responsibility managing the Program Control responsibilities
- US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
- Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, Cognos and MPM (EVMS tool)
- Experience working in a Fixed Price and/or Fixed Price Incentive contract type with an emphasis on product build and delivery
