A week in the life of an ITSM Technical Lead:

  • Act as the technical lead for a mid-sized IT enterprise, providing technical direction to a diverse staff of IT contractors.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to increase enterprise IT performance, resilience and security and to meet all required Service Level Agreements. Solutions may include improved processes, architecture, technology, contractor or user training, or other technical areas as part of continual process improvement.
  • Oversee incident management activities to resolve incidents escalated by the Service Desk and other functional areas.

Job Requirementstop

  • Secret security clearance; Top Secret preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience
  • 5 years of experience with network design, installation and maintenance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field; Master’s Degree Preferred
  • One of the following required: ITIL Intermediate, Managing Professional, Strategic Leader, Expert or Master certification
  • Security+ cybersecurity certification or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in Windows Active Directory (AD) Systems Administration
  • Strong leadership and communications skills
  • Experience with VPNs, remote access and encryption
  • Ability to drive architecture design and develop new ideas
  • Experience with VMWare
  • Experience managing enterprise storage systems
  • Experience with DoD PKI/CAC integration.
  • Experience responding to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Experience managing the migration and management of systems to a cloud environment
