Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI). Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs and AOIs. Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country. Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and other senior leadership as well. Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.

Operations Advisors, focus on clandestinely spotting, assessing, developing,recruiting, and handling non-US-citizens having access to foreign intelligence vital to US foreign policy and national security decision-makers. OAs build relationships based on rapport and trust using sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to assess character and motivation. OAs address a highly diverse and dynamic set of intelligence requirements on country and region specific issues, as well as transnational issues such as counterterrorism, counter-proliferation,and cyber.

Active TS/SCI with poly required


Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 7 years experience in the specific category or
additional 5 years experience in lieu of degree
