Program Overview: As a member of the ManTech team you will work closely with our U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) customer as part of an expansive team achieving organization-wide transformation of speed and empowerment while meeting ongoing agency needs. Responsibilities:

ManTech is seeking a Voice Deployment Engineer to support the workload associated with voice systems, and associated electronics supporting new facilities being constructed; existing facilities being renovated or remodeled, and upgrade of existing systems to support higher capacity.

Daily responsibilities include the following activities:

  • Successful provisioning of voice systems in USCIS facilities.
  • Standardized implementation of voice systems.
  • Work jointly with USCIS to support services for the installation and maintenance of voice systems infrastructure throughout USCIS.
  • Interface and coordinate with the USCIS Office of Facilities (FAC), General Services Administration (GSA), USCIS Support Contractors, Contracted architects and engineers.
  • Gather requirements, establish schedules, support and attend meetings, communicate and coordinate projects with the USCIS Office of Facilities, various cable Contractors, track project costs, and interface with USCIS OIT customers. In addition, minimal travel will be required for attending construction meetings, project kick-off, and performing site surveys and quality assurance checks.
  • Assist with modifications to policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Provide voice systems support for USCIS from beginning to end and ensure all documentation has been completed in accordance with the USCIS agreed to project plan.
  • Provide support for multiple voice systems, including scheduling and coordinating installations for projects within the National Capital Region (NCR).
  • Coordinate voice systems, and meet with USCIS Office of Facilities (FAC), Office of Information Technology (OIT), USCIS supporting staff and contractors, and engineers throughout projects.
  • Review technical designs, provide in-depth analysis to resolve problems, and issues.
  • Provide technical assistance and evaluation of voice systems orders, and review of wiring designs to ensure compliance with USCIS standards.
  • Provide additional voice systems support for other USCIS locations on an “as needed” basis.
  • Required 50% travel

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience performing IT infrastructure preparation and deployment.
  • Familiarity/experience with IT infrastructure deployment related to new facility construction, renovations, and retrofits.
  • Voice systems services and assistance.
  • Track record of success in supporting a diverse, demanding, challenging customer environment.
  • Analytical thinker who is able to develop forecasting model to aid in resourcing plans and purchase forecasts.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical design and support.
  • Provide superior customer service; possess strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic environment.

Years of Experience and Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, 10 years of relevant experience, US Citizenship is required, ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, experience operating in a DevOps environment.
