ManTech is seeking Top Talent as a DCGS-A Systems Engineer, Senior/Lead. In the execution of these efforts, the individual shall evaluate, analyze, critique, and/or assess the technical aspects of work performed by the contractor. The contractor shall provide Software Maintenance Lifecycle support to include: program management, infrastructure and information technology management, Post Deployment Software Sustainment (PDSS) Mission Support, Post Production Software Sustainment (PPSS) Mission Support, cybersecurity and authorization support. The individual may be required to perform services at its own facility (off-site) or at a duty station at a designated U.S. Government facility or other designated facilities (on-site) within the Continental U.S. (CONUS).

The DCGS-A Systems Engineer Senior/Lead will be responsible for:

  • Systems engineering – responsible for system requirements, design, documentation, risks, quality
  • System documentation (Engineering artifacts, contract artifacts, requirements traceability, manuals)
  • Assists in the definition and programming of moderately complex software
  • Works effectively on several phases of systems/software programming/analysis with little direction, but may require some instruction and guidance for other aspects
  • Provides functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware and software operating systems for the organization's products
  • May assist in the coding of benchmark testing, job accounting and other control modules developed internally by the company/ assist with moderately complex software applications, such as system generations, compilers, link editors, and assemblers
  • Interacts with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design
  • Participates in the development of test strategies
  • Solving engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned

Requirements:

  • Must have a BS degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical disciple in required. Must have 5-8 years of applicable experience.
  • Focus in systems engineering
  • Position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Creative problem solver to devise solutions using test systems/tools, company or customer furnished computer systems and equipment or commercial off-the-shelf packages
  • Plans, develops, implements tests, and customizes software test servers and tools
  • May support system/software test design, engineering evaluation, configuration management
  • Continues to improve technical expertise through the identification of new processes and technical alternatives to resolve problems and/or general improvements
  • 5 years’ experience with requirement analysis, functional design, integration, and testing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DCGS-A experience
  • Desired Certifications: CompTIA Security+
  • 3.1.5.3.3-Tech Exch Mtgs, 3.2.2.2- SW Sustain/Enhance, (3.2.2.2.1-3.2.2.2.4, 3.2.2.2.7, 3.2.2.2.11), 3.2.2.3.1-Control/ Maintain PPSS/PDSS Test Bed, 3.2.2.3.2-Manage/Maintain PPSS/PDSS HW/SW, 3.2.2.3.3-Develop PPSS/PDSS HW/SW Tools, 3.2.2.3.4-Maintain Sup Environment, 3.2.2.4-IT Infrastructure Sup, 3.2.2.4.3-Manage/Operate IT Help Desk

Clearance:

Must have active Secret Clearance. Ability to obtain TS/SCI Eligibility needed based on final work assignment. TS/SCI clearance preferred.
