Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and advise to MS Azure best practices across a complex continually evolving Agile environment

• Administer and implement Azure IaaS/PaaS resources across cross functional enterprise IT organization

• Design and implement Azure Automation, ARM Templates, DevOps, CICD, Infra as Code for all resources

• Develop Cloud and SQL Solution Architecture and Design Documentation, including detailed optioned solution cost/budget recommendations for Azure Cloud implementations, including ongoing budget optimization

• Manage deployments, design, debug, and optimization of Azure Cloud services across several application team environments spread across 14 subscriptions in 4 regions, including new region and subscription deployments

• Understand, support complex backend integrations across multiple technology platforms, leading ad-hoc cross functional efforts to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, to recommend evolutionary enhancements

• Advocacy for Microsoft, SQL Server and Azure technologies, self-motivated and driven to research, enhance, optimize existing implementations and target architecture design, migration, and implementations

• Extensive custom application development DevOps support and collaboration with multiple AppDev teams

• Responsible to maintain compliance with SOX controls, and extensive custom encryption solutions on subset of applications, data, and SQL Servers systems providing the most sensitive internal operations

• Demonstrate strong documentation, communication skills and effectively work with various technology teams across several different time zones to collaborate and delivery regularly coordinated weekly sprint deliveries

• Demonstrate a strong dedicated work ethic and the ability to work flexible, long, sometimes odd hours in support of development, validation, and production initiatives across a diverse locally distributed workforce in a fast-paced Agile organization to deliver innovative cutting edge integrated technical and business solutions

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering required, graduate work preferred

• 12 years IT experience, minimum 5 years enterprise Cloud Engineering experience required, Azure experience mandatory. 7 years minimum IT software/system engineering required; DevOps/SQL DBA preferred

• Must possess extensive understanding of SQL Server Database design, concepts, and experience with large database and data platform solutions and demonstrate enterprise MS/Windows/Server/Azure mastery

• Must possess extensive implementation and ownership of corporate Azure Cloud subscriptions, resource group, resource, automation, network, security, DevOps, design and administration of IaaS and PaaS

• Microsoft Azure Cloud Certification Required, Azure Solution Architect certification preferred

• Microsoft SQL Server, Azure DevOps and additional Microsoft Certifications preferred
