ManTech is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Information Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team to foster innovation and facilitate the integration of new and emerging capabilities to our customer.

General Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Liaison between Intelligence and Information Community stakeholders within the III MEF area of responsibility (primarily III MIG) and maintain a deep understanding of Intelligence and Information operations and capabilities (Program of Record, Research and Development efforts, etc.).
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and engage with Intelligence and Information Community stakeholders regarding ongoing or planned projects and initiatives that enhance the Marine Corps' ability to maintain an asymmetric advantage in the Information Environment.
  • Aid in the establishment, execution, and sustainment of Information Operations related forums, working groups, centers of excellence, and review boards. 
  • Design and create standard, repeatable, and streamlined processes and documentation for up to MEF-level integration during operational, training, exercise, and experimental activities, including planning timelines,  and required support equipment.
  • Stay abreast of Intelligence and Information gaps (both functional and technical), advances in technologies, and identify opportunities for rapid technology development and insertion in order to close both within your area of operations.
  • Support research and development tasks leading to Field User Evaluations (FUE) and document results of FUE related activities in alignment with customer objectives and priorities.
  • Assist in requirements definition for emerging or follow-on systems or variants of systems that aid in modernizing the Information Environment.
  • Support technology insertion efforts to enhance system performance and provide interoperability across DoD, Navy, and Marine Corps intelligence and information focused organizations.  
  • Provide analysis of operations and support activities that contribute to effectiveness within the Information Environment.
  • Work with stakeholders to optimize processes and associated system lifecycles, identify potential improvements, and implement improvements as directed.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance / SCI
  • Extensive experience with, and knowledge of, Marine Corps Intelligence and Information communities as well as associated systems and operations.
  • Possess a high degree of technical and operational competence and expertise within the Information Operations realm; specifically with Joint, DoD, Navy, and Marine Corps capabilities and activities.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting DoD stakeholder activities and initiatives by contributing senior-level expertise towards their objectives.
  • Exhibit ability to interact and communicate with senior levels of military leadership effectively and competently.
  • Master's Degree and 12 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of Marine Corps programs of record, acquisition life cycles, systems engineering processes, and requirements and capabilities development processes (e.g. JCIDS)
  • Prior senior military or civilian experience supporting DoD, Navy, and/or USMC Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) or similar systems at an advanced level.
  • In-depth knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW), Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), Operations Security (OPSEC), Military Deception (MILDEC), and other related Information Environment operations.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in leading and facilitating analysis efforts on highly complex organization problems or mission
