ManTech is searching for talented IT professionals to support the CDM DEFEND F project, which is responsible for providing defensive cybersecurity-as-a-service to 73 U.S. Federal Agencies.  ManTech was the first and only company to develop and deliver this subscription-based service to civilian agencies and is preparing to expand the services offerings beyond the originally planned capabilities.  This dynamic and fast-moving team will require each of us to learn new skills, test new technologies, and accept a rapid rate of change and adoption.  It’s CLOUD.  It’s FISMA HIGH.  It’s CYBERSECURITY.  It’s CHALLENGING.  It’s CAREER ENHANCING.  And it’s the FUTURE OF OUR MARKET.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems for a production environment
  • Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
  • Conduct Design Workshops with multiple stakeholders
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Train users in implementation or conversion of systems

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree preferred
  • ISC2 CISSP is required
  • Experience in a cyber architecture team on projects similar to the size, scope, and complexity of enterprise level environments
  • Experience developing cybersecurity solutions across a diverse and heterogeneous IT environment, including the following:
    • Technical leadership in Enterprise Architecture (EA), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and IT Service Delivery to multiple U.S. Government Agencies.
  • Experience in TOGAF, Federal Enterprise Architecture or similar Enterprise Architecture models.
  • Experience in NIST RMF or CDM Framework
  • Demonstrated experience in security solution design using existing and emerging technologies to achieve enterprise solutions.
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in architecting Identity lifecycle solution using tools such as Oracle Identity Manager, or SailPoint IIQ.
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in architecting Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Configuration Settings Management, or Vulnerability Management tools such as Tenable SCCV or Nessus, ForeScout, ServiceNow, McAfee Application Control or Policy Auditor.
  • A minimum six years of experience working with Security Authorization requirements, developing and enhancing the security risk posture, and analysis and reporting of IT security metrics.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in security policy and emerging cybersecurity technologies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CCIE, CCSP, Security+, CCNP Security, CCNA Security, CISA, GSE, SCNA, GCIH, and/or GLSC is highly desired
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in architecting Security solutions, such as Incident Response Automation, Packet Filtering, Proxies, Network Access Protection, Trust Internet Connection (TIC), Email Gateways, Web Application Firewalls, Data Loss Protection (DLP), Encryption (Data at Rest, Data in Motion) or Software Development Assurance (code inspection), is highly desired.
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in architecting Security solutions, such as Micro Segmentation, Digital Rights Management, Data Lifecycle Management, or Encryption Management is highly desired.
  • Experience in conducting assessments at an Enterprise by reviewing technical documentations, conducting interviews and workshops to identify gaps and developing a tailored solution is highly desired is highly desired
  • General Programming Experience with languages such as Java, Python, C , Ruby or PHP is desired.
