Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team with OPM MOI in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and defines security requirements for a variety of computer and telecommunications issues. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions to requirements.
  • Gather and organizes technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs.
  • Perform risk analyses including risk assessment.
  • Develop, analyze, and implement security architecture(s) as appropriate.
  • Provide direct support to a full range of IT security principles, concepts, practices, products and services (including systems software, database software, storage technology, and security device hardware), and methods for evaluating risk and vulnerability, implementing and mitigating improvement, and disseminating IT security tools and procedures.
  • Assist with the design, deployment and administration of a multi-site, distributed log audit environment. Including Multi-site Clustering, Search Head Clustering, Universal Forwarders, Deployer, and Deployment Server.
  • Effectively choose the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of the security engineering products
  • Provide Tier 3 maintenance support for deployed cyber security technologies
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of information security policies, standards, and control procedures to enable compliance with RMF
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments when requested by the ISSO to determine if software and system configurations meet DoS standards. Review and implement DoS security policy/procedure/guidelines, configure and update hardware and software, and mitigate vulnerabilities identified by security appliances and sensors placed across the enterprise. Safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) and program information.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work independently
  • Expected to be able to perform typical day-to-day tasks autonomously, requiring assistance in only the most complex tasks.
  • Knowledge of department regulations and requirements
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to complete assignments correctly, independently and in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous overseas work experience a plus but not required
  • Previous Experience using Splunk, Bro, Elastic Stack, and/or Azure ATP for administration of a distributed log environment.
  • Previous experience using Tenable Security Center and Rapid7 Nexpose for administration of security compliance
  • Open to taking on new tasks as new technologies are introduced
  • Experience with Office 365 Security and Compliance, as well as the Azure Security Center

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must Possess an active Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to move laptops or desktops.
  • Mainly works in an indoor office environment- uses a computer and other office equipment and moves about to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
