Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Response Team (RT) Staff Officer to join our team in the Springfield, Virginia.

OVERALL ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: Independently perform a wide range of functions and tasks, which require vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing, explaining and supporting policy implementation. Provide general or specialized administrative support to agency offices and programs. Develop pertinent information and provide to the Government POC for communication to varied audiences (e.g. agency, DoD, IC, Federal Government, Congress, the media, the public, the international community, and private industry) by extracting and organizing information for briefings, read-ahead and other materials and/or recording and publishing Meeting Minutes with particular attention to detail and quality. May provide other administrative duties listed (scheduling and coordinating meetings, calendars, and events; gathering, inputting, and retrieving electronic data; maintaining files and folders; researching and analyzing information and data to prepare reports, presentations, and papers; prepares routine correspondence in accordance with agency standards; prepare and distribute briefing and read-ahead materials; maintaining office supplies, initiating equipment trouble tickets or replacement, and coordinating office moves), as needed.

Assist and support the following:

  • The COVID-19 Response Team (RT) within the agency’s Installation Operations Office (SIO). The RT receives phone calls, collects info, inputs data, coordinates with medical providers, manages response activities, composes notifications, and contributes to reports for the agency.

  • The RT Chief of Staff with the administration and management of the RT shift personnel.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Maintain Response Team (RT) contact information and schedule RT shifts

  • Stay updated and informed on latest agency response guidance to COVID cases

  • Update and maintain RT SOP and training materials

  • Conduct and track training for RT members

  • Identify, track, and resolve issues, interdependencies and action items

  • Communicates guidance/challenges between RT leadership and shifts

  • Improve RT processes

  • Assign and manage scheduling for short-term work spaces for displaced personnel

  • Update and maintain RT SOP and training materials, as required

  • Identify, track, and resolve issues regarding short-term work space needs

  • Communicates guidance/challenges between RT leadership, SIO and space needs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance

  • Eleven (11) years of office management/staff officer experience and a Bachelor’s degree – OR – Nineteen (19) years of related experience without a Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience working in Operations Center or similar environment

  • Experience working with PII

  • Experience working on cross- functional teams

  • Experience conducting training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working on COVID-19 efforts.

  • Experience working with the agency.

  • Experience leading teams.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to occasionally move about inside the office to attend meetings and speak to customers in-person.

  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations--must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
