This position is for the Northrop Grumman Technology Services (NGTS) Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technology Maturation, Risk Reduction Program Manager, and Ogden, Utah Site Lead. This role will support program planning, technical planning, system integration, cost and risk analyses, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for GBSD TMRR and program capture activities. The position will be located in Ogden, UT.
Duties and/or Responsibilities:
  • Directing and integrating NGTS program activities in all phases of the program execution
  • Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of overall NGTS work scope and GBSD IWO work
  • Acts as primary NGTS contact for TMRR Program execution
  • Works with Operating Unit quality and risk organizations to identify program risks /opportunities and issues and establishes and implements mitigations plans
  • Coordinates with Operating Unit engineering directors to manage the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, functional and administrative areas
  • Coordinates all NGTS GBSD efforts across the corporation to ensure that best technical solutions showing experienced inter-sector collaboration to bring feature 1NG solutions to the customer regardless of Sector origination
Additional duties:
  • Assisting in business growth and achievement of reaching OU/BU business goals
  • Providing resources as needed in supporting the competition for the GBSD EMD Contract
  • Facilitate solving GBSD organization concerns and issues as they surface
  • Assist other Sectors with onsite Ogden, UT support
Basic Qualifications:
Prospective Candidates must have the following experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive program management experience with earned value management system reporting experience
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-sector programs/projects/ proposals
  • Demonstrated experience with ICBM program management within the past 5 years
  • US Citizen holding an active US Secret Clearance or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent GBSD experience
  • US Citizen holding an active US Top Secret Clearance
  • Familiarity with all NGC Sectors and their capabilities
  • Prior involvement with ICBM system modification/modernization programs
  • Verified adherence to Northrop Grumman Values
  • Demonstrated performance and people leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills including technical writing and verbal communication
