Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD.

The qualified applicant will manage a portfolio of programs in the Emerging Capabilities Development Division. This position reports to the BU Business Manager of Advanced Programs within ECDD and also partners with the Portfolio Director to develop strategy, report on program performance, and achieve financial goals.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
  • Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review
  • Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
  • Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
  • Compliance and financial reporting
  • On-going collaboration with the customer and functional teams
  • Support of pricing and proposal activities
  • Management of Program Earned Value reporting
  • Internal and External support of compliance audits
  • Review of contractual documents.
  • Assistance with contract negotiations.
  • Close monitoring and analysis of Funding availability, Milestone Billings and Cash collections.
  • Lead the development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/Long Range Strategic Planning (LRSP).
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 8 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience leading a program, project, or personnel.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Experience in proposal preparation, BOE preparation and evaluations
  • A current, active TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
  • MBA or CPA certification
  • Experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development
  • Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
  • Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with SAP and Financial Forecasting Systems
  • The willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
