The Supply Chain Planning Specialist (SCPS) in support of the Development/Int'l and Sustainment Division of the overarching F35 Business Unit. Specific duties would include but will not be limited:

  • Supporting approximately 3 high visibility development efforts, lead of an international supplier (MELCO), and various sustainment contracts from a GSC perspective

    • Collaborate with various organizations such as Contracts, Program Office, Business Management, and other GSC F35 personnel etc. to:

      • Review and understand supplier proposals (International)

      • Develop/understand the program strategy from the proposal phase to ensure an organized and successful execution.

      • Establish clear and regular communication cadence with F35 Production team to ensure Development contracts support the needs of Production and risk adverse plans for break in are established and maintained.

      • Perform basic GSC functions/reporting on any given program (IPRS, RTGs, Weekly Program Material status, Metrics, financial forecasting, etc).

  • Operate with a strong understanding of GSC concepts, practices, and role in order to manage any given program effectively as well as identify and implement best practices or lessons learned.

  • Provide guidance/lead lower level professionals within the F35 GSC team

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum 6 years relevant experience (e.g. cost account management, supplier financial reporting/forecasting and supplier/program/product scheduling) with a Bachelors' Degree or 4 years with a Masters

- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance

- High level of proficiency in MS Office suite and SAP.

- Ability to travel Internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a development fast based environment

- Experience in Program Management from a GSC perspective and able to mentor/train peers

- Ability to manage a program with little to no management guidance

- Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
