Daily Duties:


  • Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery
  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
  • Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space
  • Deploy, manage, maintain, and support Microsoft Windows (all versions), Active Directory, local applications, servers, workstations and related technologies
  • Respond to monitored alerts to quickly identify trouble source and implement resolution
  • Conduct system audits and data backups
  • Assist with design and implementation of technical security technology and IT projects as directed
  • Must be able to provide periodic 24/7 on call support



Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of related IT experience OR a Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of related IT experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience within a WAN/LAN environment.

  • Security Clearance TS clearance with upgrade to SCI required for some positions

  • US Citizenship Required

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master'sDegree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other IT related discipline is preferred.
  • Technical certification a plus.
  • Government specified Enterprise Operations and Networks experience
