Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Operations Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Monterey, CA. The team conducts a variety of research studies and supports data analytics efforts for clients across the Army, Office of the Secretary of Defense and greater DoD, conducting high-quality research with practical real-world implications. The team works primarily within a data environment that houses a wealth of administrative, personnel, survey, and medical data (i.e., big data) on extremely large populations. Projects generally focus on resilience, health, and readiness among military service members, and include population-based studies, machine learning projects, visual analytics platforms, measurement analysis, and pilot program evaluations.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Follow best practices to maintain service quality levels for a DoD IT System.
  • Define, Measure, Analyze, Report, and Adjust performance metrics for a DoD IT System
  • Create specifications in support of IT systems
  • Create process flows and activity diagrams

Basic Qualifications: This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3 candidate.

Basic Qualifications for a Operations Analyst 3 are:
5+ years experience with a Bachelors in Science; 3+ years with Masters; 0 years with PhD.

Basic Qualifications for a Operations Analyst 2 are:
2+ years with Bachelors in Science; 0 years with Masters

Basic Qualifications Required:
  • Experience providing operations support to complex Information Systems.
  • Experience working with DESMF, ITIL, or similar frameworks.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to maintain DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience providing operations support to DoD Information Systems.
  • Experience managing and configuring systems in AWS GovCloud environment.
  • Familiarity with DoD RMF Process.
