Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as an Air Battle Manager (ABM) / Weapons Director (WD) SME - Staff Flight Simulation Trainer. The location of this position is at Nellis AFB, NV. The qualified candidate will facilitate the daily execution of Virtual Test & Training Center (VTTC) and small team events for the USAF Weapons School, Operational Test & Evaluation squadrons and local USAF Warfare Center events as requested by the customer.


Responsibilities include a thorough knowledge Airborne Command and Control (C2) procedures, integration of airborne tactical platforms and training requirements. The ABM/WD SME will facilitate the VTTC's support of daily Nellis AFB unit training through scheduling, scenario development, mission planning, brief, execution, debrief and analysis.

To accomplish these unit training requirements he/she will develop the executable Computer Generated Forces (CGF) scenarios, mission materials and briefs for the diverse aircrew training audience. They will facilitate the execution of USAFWC training missions while acting as the white force and assist in regulating the flow of timely injects throughout the training event, manage scenario desired learning objectives per syllabus directives and troubleshoot system issue.

Additional duties may include:

Candidate may provide consulting expertise to military and/or defense clients to develop and evaluate military training and doctrine. Candidate may provide specialized planning and/or execution expertise in specialized phases of military training exercises--including doctrinal development, scenario development, and after action review and analysis. Candidate will assist in development of local USAFWS syllabus to maximize constructive and virtual training events. The candidate may be required to travel and support additional USAF distributed training missions and support emerging LVC initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 15+ Years with Bachelors; 13+ Years with Masters/ an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement
US Citizenship is required with a current Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
Graduate of USAF Weapons School as Air Battle Manager or Weapons Director
Control and Reporting Center (CRC) experience
Experience with Battlespace Command and Control Center-Theater (BC3-T)


Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Combat Air Forces DMO exercises and simulations.
Operational experience in CRC or AWACS within the past 5 years.
Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of related experience; 13 years with Masters
