Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) sector is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Manager 2 for the Engineering, Sciences & Technology (E&S) Central Region, and Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) discipline. In the Mission Systems' sector, you'll join our experts in developing systems and solutions that keep our world safe.

The qualified applicant will work in Huntsville, Alabama , headquarters for the Missile Defense and Protective Systems (MDPS) division. The responsibilities of this position encompass both functional management (~20%) and technical performance (~80%) on a designated program within the MDPS division.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:
  • Demonstrate leadership and relationship building skills, and possess the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business.
  • Champion innovation, technology transformation, and promote best practice processes and procedures for integration and test activities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for employee career development, goal planning, performance reviews, training, and overall employee growth and development.
  • Collaborate across the matrixed functional organization and program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to accomplish goals and to meet objectives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity.
HUNTSALMSTR
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of technical experience in Systems Engineering Integration and Test domain
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with technical teams and upper management.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing testing methods and equipment.
  • Experience supporting the planning and arranging of labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating requirements implementation.
  • Experience leading technical teams to accomplish work effort and defined milestones
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Missile Defense Programs
  • Experience applying innovative solutions to resolve technical problems, achieve affordability, mitigate risks and realize opportunities.
  • Experience leading and/or working within a functional matrix organization.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Proven experience interacting and communicating with internal and external customer representatives at various technical and management levels.
  • Experience conducting presentations and participating in technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Possesses a Security+ Certification
