Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager, Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

Essential Functions:

This individual will be responsible for the program performance elements of the E-2D Production IPT. This role will support the Production team with Responsibility, Accountability, and Authority (RAA) for managing and tracking program metrics, planning & organization and lead the risk and opportunity management process. In this role, the Performance Manager will ensure the IPT meet all deliverables required to support the execution plan and enterprise reporting needs. The PM will act as key interface with other IPT leads to monitor adherence production master plans and schedules and ensure horizontal integration. Position requires ability to interface with stakeholders and manage seams across IPT and enterprise. Responsibilities include execution of program reviews, risk management, action item tracking and staffing/resource management.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or related field from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience within an IPT work environment
  • Excellent communications skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Excellent problem solving skills with ability to work in multi-discipline team environment
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical degree
  • Previous E-2 program experience
  • Cost account management and earned value
  • Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management experience in aerospace
