Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Information Systems Administrator Generalist to support our Information Technology modernization program. This position is located in Woodlawn, MD.

Description of Work:

Responsibilities are in more than one of the following information systems and/or related areas: personal computer applications training, data control and scheduling coordination, systems administration, data security administration, and associated fields.

  • Manage and supportAV equipment across all conference rooms.

  • Provide support for setup, configuration, administration, support and troubleshooting all aspects of Microsoft user accounts for computing equipment issued by SSA customer for use NGC. program personnel, including re imaging of machines.

  • Develop and document processes for streamlining IT support; document instructions on proper use and maintenance of issued software and hardware.

  • Manage and maintain hardware and software inventory.

  • Interact with a large user base on a regular basis to provide timely support in resolving IT needs.



    • Basic Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree and 4 year of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 11 years of relevant technology experience in lieu of a degree.

      • 1 year of experience in at least2 of the following:
      • Configuring and managing audio visual equipment across multiple conference rooms and for small scale venues.

      • Troubleshooting wired or wireless networks and internet/intranet connectivity issues.

      • Mobile applications setup, configuration and troubleshooting.

      • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
      • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status.
      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office software including but not limited to Outlook (including personal folders), Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

      • Working with a large diverse base of individual users with limited technical knowledge and prioritizing their needs.
