Northrop Grumman Technology Services, Global Logistics & Modernization Division is seeking a Manager Business Management 2 to join its team supporting its US Army's Special Electronics Mission Aircraft (SEMA) Life Cycle Services Contract in Huntsville, Alabama.

As the successful applicant, you will have overall business management responsibilities for the SEMA program, under the Airborne Systems Integration Center's (ASIC) Operating Unit, will be a direct report to the ASIC Business Management Leadership, and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the program directors, managers, contracts managers, operations manager, procurement manager, and other technical and functional teams on the SEMA Contract

The duties and responsibilities of the selected individual will include, but are not limited to:
The management and professional development of 3 to 4 Financial Analysts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for all aspects of the SEMA portfolio from the business development phase through contract closeout, delivering strong customer satisfaction, successful financial performance, risk mitigation and change management. Respond to regular proactive interface and effective collaboration is required with program, technical and functional organizations in order to provide guidance and direction based upon the requirements of the contract.

Leading business management functional support at the PMO as the BM IPT. Ensuring all financial CDRLs are delivered on time with accurate data. Providing timely accurate financial reporting and forecasting. Actively collaborating with cross functional teams including, contracts management, procurement management, accounting operations, pricing and estimating as required to meet the dynamic needs of the SEMA program.

You must be able to quickly understand complex situations and disseminate proposed solutions in a clear concise manner throughout the stakeholder chain. Must be comfortable negotiating in real time with the internal and customer stakeholders. Must be able to prioritize competing priorities to ensure commitments are met or exceeded. Finally, you must also be comfortable working and leading in a diverse team environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degreein Finance/Accounting/ Business Management or related discipline plus a minimum of10 years related experience in business management, accounting, or finance related field -OR- Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years relatedexperience in business management, accounting, or finance related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of DoD businessrelated experience (i.e. business management, contracts, etc.)
  • Experiencemanaging, leading, coaching and mentoring a diverse team in the development and implementation of departmental processes, policies and procedures.
  • Experience reporting financial data and associated metrics for large programs or a program area with multiple contract types.
  • Strong background in forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis including but not limited to: monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
  • Experiencedeveloping Long Range Strategic Planning (LRSP), indirect rate development, management and reporting, Incurred Cost Proposals submissions, limitation of cost and funding notifications.
  • Experience ensuring financial processes and reporting standards are in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstratedunderstanding of root cause analysis, as well as, risk and opportunity assessment.
  • Understanding of A606 accounting practices and familiarity with FAR, DFAR and CAS compliance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP/ BW
  • Familiarity with Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) programs
