Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a PrincipalLogistics Planner to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

The selected Candidate(s) will work in the Product Support- Global Mission Excellence & Logistics (GMEL) organization on the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, as well as, E-2C Hawkeye and C-2 Greyhound to provide logistics provisioning support which includes Logistical Support Analysis (LSA) reports and data packages to the Navy. Selected applicant may be asked to perform a wide range of Logistics Support tasks within the organization. These tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Logistics provisioning and providing logistics management documentation
  • Logistical Support Analysis (LSA) reports/data packages

  • Developing Engineering Data for Provisioning

  • LSA-036 Provisioning Parts Listings

  • LSA-151 Provisioning Parts Listing Index (PPLI)

  • Developing Design Change Notification (DCN) packages

  • Developing Interim Support Items List (ISIL) package

  • Supporting provisioning conferences with customers

  • Planning/Scheduling of technical documentation effort

  • EVMS planning and tracking

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations in order to ensure reports are competed in an efficient manner within existing financial constraints and procedures in order to meet customer needs and company objectives. The Planner builds relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers through direct communications. The Planner integrates learning from customers, suppliers, and other Northrop Grumman operating entities to refine reports and presentations over time.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 5 years of supply support/provisioning experience.

Must have a working knowledge of MIL-PRF-49506, MIL-STD-1388-2B and/or GEIA-STD-0007data requirements and associated databases.

Preferred Qualifications:
All Basic Qualifications plus: Experience with military supply management and maintenance management, Bill of Materials (BOMs), parts supply/inventory management and military maintenance, especially aviation-based.
