Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Ft Meade, MD.

Role and Responsibilities:


Senior staff that designs, develops, evaluates and modifies systems throughout their lifecycle.
Guide System development implantation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Participates in system conceptual design and documentation.
Support establishing system specifications and collaborates with engineering teams to develop systems.
Provide support in design reviews and test plans/procedures execution.
Analyze and develop CONOPs, system architectures, and requirements.
Ability to maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of DOD Cybersecurity policies and the Risk Management.
Mentor mid-level and junior staff, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline and 5+ years of related experience within cybersecurity, information assurance or related field.
Experience managing and supporting system requirements analysis, design, and development activities.
Experienceand familiarity with performing engineering analysis and issue resolution.
Minimum DOD 8140/ DOD 8570 IAT Level I Certification (examples include: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, Network+ CE or SSCP)
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with Gigamon, VMware, Dell PowerEdge, Dell Fiber storage, and Elk.
