Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking an experienced Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) to join our team of qualified and diverse security professionals. As the CSSO, you would be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures in coordination with government agencies and Northrop Grumman Security leadership. Coordinates and monitors sensitive aspects of government agencies' industrial security programs, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Roles and Responsibilities:

The candidate must be an experienced security professional with a SCI background and the ability to adapt in a highly charged and challenging work environment. This position will report to the Site Facility Security Officer (FSO). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following

* Develops, implements, and monitors SCI/special security policies and procedures; ensures compliance with all aspects of the security program

* Protects classified government information and manages TS/SCI personnel security clearance and processes

* Conducts initial and on-going security training and education briefings

* Prepares for and is POC during SCI-Security audits/inspections

* Administers routine aspects of industrial security programs and supports SCI and Special Access Programs in compliance with the NISPOM, JAFAN, DoDM 5205.07, DCID, ICD's and other applicable government security directives associated with SCI and special security programs

* Establishes and maintains a working relationship with all government agencies while building/managing SCIFs/SAPFs as well as filing necessary clearance paperwork for employees, candidates, and consultants

* Uses JPAS and other special access site to track and maintain clearances

* Maintains SCIF visitor control functions

* Develops and provides new employee security briefings, exit interviews, and debriefings

* Works closely with the Facility Security Officer (FSO) to investigate and report security violations, and incident reports

* Conducts SCIF self-inspections in preparation for security audits

* Provides follow-up clearance status on processed clearance to manager for specific contracts

* Prepares written reports of surveys and inspections

* Maintains all security documentation and files in accordance with government requirements

Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED

* Minimum of6 years ofSensitive Compartmented Information(SCI)experience

* Experience with the Nation Industrial Security Program Operating Manual(NISPOM)

* Must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a current Single Scope Background Investigation

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skill

* Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

* Self-motivated with willingness to assist in other security as needed

* Independent judgment and discretion, as well as the identification, analysis and resolution

* Extensive background in classified programs and a thorough understanding of Government security regulations

* Experience in building, accrediting, and managing SCIFs across various government agencies

* Experience dealing with all levels of management

* Experience with JPAS, SIMS and DIAS
