Northrop Grumman Aerospace System (NGAS) is seeking a Schedule Manager. You have the ability to lead Program scheduling organization including the management of all schedulers on large programs.

- As the Schedule Manager, you will be expected to fully understand and implement scheduling process on their program, including all EV requirements.

- Fully understand EV system and be able to support its implementation on the program.

- You will have the ability to develop metrics and reports for management use and reporting to the customer and lead Program level planning scheduling process on a large proposal. At this level you will support the functional organization in process development and improvement and be involved in the hiring process.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Works closely with technical leads on the program

- Ensures the Program's Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.

- Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.

- Consults with the Program Team and provides thorough project analysis showing knowledge and understanding of the program and the principles of EVMS, and consults and implements processes and/or work flows to enhance cost and schedule performance.

- Performs risk analyses, and identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.

- Provide interface/support to program office and PIT.

- Mentors and coaches less experienced schedulers to achieve program objectives.

- Support new business proposal providing recommendations on schedule methodologies and proposal strategies and develop an IMP and IMS.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of management or lead experience in Program Planning and Scheduling.

- Working knowledge of EVMS guidelines and processes

- Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

- 10+ years' experience in project scheduling along with expert skills in Microsoft Project, as demonstrated by an understanding of the tool's properties and functions.

- Experience using Schedule Health Analysis tools and Schedule Risk Assessment tools..
