Candidate will perform the duties of a Principal Test and Integration Project Engineer/Test Conductor for the International GH Test Team leadership support. Responsibilities will include analysis and documentation of project risks & opportunities, evaluation and disposition of budget change impacts to the programs, participation in cost and schedule planning activities, and support for the development of future test equipment and labs. Focus is on updating and integrating the complex issues of the modernization of System and Flight Test as well as evaluating how proposed solutions affect future program costs and Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Additional duties will include coordinating and conducting test activities for both the FMS SIL and Air Vehicle Development Test

Essential Functions:
International Program representation on behalf of team leadership
Cross IPT planning integration for AV ferry
Risk, Issues, & opportunity management
Project status metrics reporting, development and upkeep
Customer/Supplier/Vendor interfacing and coordination
Controls project costs by approving expenditures
LRSP package development, integration, review, and management
Function as Work Package Manager (WPM) for CAM duties on the Japan program and all of the duties inherent
Function as the Team Center SME on all TSR's and CDRL requirements for delivery to the SPO
Develop as the WPM the related IMS details for QBD/0-100/50-50 tasking in the IMS
Coordinate and assist with execution of FMS SIL and Air Vehicle testing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in Project Engineering, Management or STEM, OR experience in the Military/Aerospace Defense sector
  • Experience in one or more of the following specialized skills: project management, aerospace engineering, system/test planning, logistics planning.
  • At least 2 years' experience planning short term/long term schedules and developing detailed briefings
  • An active DoD Interim Top Secret clearance with an investigation in the past 2 years
  • Must have the ability to travel for 1-4 weeks duration at a time internationally (current passport)
  • The ability to obtain program access

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with any of the following a plus:
  • Knowledge of proposal development, change integration, team center, EVMS, and capital commitment funding processes
  • SME with entire Microsoft Suite to include Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees and management (Directors/VPs)
  • Possesses strong facilities planning, analyzing project requirements, estimating and coordinating skills and a broad facilities background and knowledge base within the Aerospace Industry.
  • Function as Work Package Manager (WPM) for CAM duties on the Japan program and all of the duties inherent
  • Knowledge of Team Center and SME on all TSR's and CDRL requirements for delivery to the SPO
  • Develop as the WPM the related IMS details for QBD/0-100/50-50 tasking in the IMS
  • Provide detailed metrics along with financial reporting monthly to the UMS resource board on Capital and NCTA projects assigned
  • Manage at a minimum 7 individual projects metrics and advanced labor planning of said projects to include quarterly and bi-annual submittals to division leadership
  • Brief the BM VP and director monthly on all financials as they relate to the capital and NCTA funds
  • Develop Monte Carlo simulations of staffing plans for LRSP as it relates to the test IPT funding profile for 2020-2024
  • Develop and publish staffing plans for the GH test IPT
  • Provide detailed analysis on future staffing based on the profiles of the staffing plan
  • Develop individual project plans for engineering modernization efforts according to the GH LRSP with BM and engineering senior staff
  • Prepare and submit capital quad charts and associated CCFA's for funding determining the requisite color of money to accomplish this tasking working with division finance
