The primary job responsibilities are, but not limited, to the following:

-Responsible for design, development, integration, and test of Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) software.
-Provide software development for ACRA task file creation, Omega import files and Param Default files for IADS Software.
-Performs a variety of duties, including: engineering design tasks as assigned, participating in electrical design reviews, and procedure writing.
-Interpret detailed design specifications, product manuals, ICDs, and/or design Schematics.
Basic Qualifications:

(You must possess these qualifications in order to be considered for this position.)

- Must have a BS Degree in a related field or - Associate's Degree in a related field with 4 years of relevant exempt experience/or 4 years relevant non-exempt experience plus 2 years of exempt experience or in lieu of a degree 6 years of relevant exempt experience/or 8 years relevant non- exempt experience plus 2 years of relevant exempt experience/or 12 years relevant non-exempt experience.
-Familiar with Database Administration, Database Design and Maintenance.
-Able to interpret detailed design specifications, product manuals, ICDs, and/or design Schematics.
-Experience with software development and maintenance.
-Security Plus Certificate.
-Special Program Access will be required.
-Current Active DOD Secret clearance with the ability obtain a Top Secret clearance.
-Must be able to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Knowledge of telemetry and RF, onboard recording systems and ground stations, sub-systems and specialized Instrumentation test equipment.
-Experience with the integration, test, and operation of telemetry based COTS data acquisition systems and working knowledge of communication protocols such as MIL-STD 1553, Ethernet, and Fiber Channel.
-Familiar with the engineering development cycle, along with engineering configuration management concepts. Knowledge or experience navigating MIL-STD documents and specifications.

The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment while interacting with customers and other design engineers.

The position will be based out of Palmdale, CA.
