If so, our Technology Services sector is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill an immediate opening as a SCA Haas Machinist Programmer to join our diverse team of professionals at our Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Support Center in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.


  • Performs Programming, Set-Up and complete Operation utilizing G-Code of a Haas VF2, CNC Vertical Milling Center to create precision machined parts.
  • Utilizes SurfCAM Programing to create precision machined parts.
  • Performs the measurement, calculation, and precision machining of complex parts.
  • Interprets and adheres to currently released drawing configurations and identifies drawing discrepancies.
  • Supports the machining and design of prototype parts, fixtures and assemblies to include providing reasonable labor estimates and defining process inspection points for the development of master routing travelers.
  • Understands and applies basic math skills and follows basic instructions and guidelines.
  • Negotiates and integrates different viewpoints on complex issues, collaborates in a team environment and understand sequence of operations or actions to be taken.
  • Employee must be able to wear a respirator and other safety gear.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working area at all times.
  • Identifies tooling, supplies, and resources needed in order to maintain a serviceable working area.
  • Performs maintenance as required on all tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Identifies defective tools and equipment and removes them from usage.

Basic Qualifications:
1.A High School Diploma or equivalent
2. A minimum of6 yrs ofCNC Vertical Milling Machining andProgramming or equivalent(Set-Up and Operating experience utilizing G-code).
3. Proficient with CAM Programming such as SurfCAM or MasterCAM
4. Abilityto wear a respirator and other applicable safety gear.

5. Abilityto obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.6 or more year of Programming, Set-Up and complete Operation of a Haas VF2 CNC Vertical Milling Center.

2.6 or more years of CAM Programming experience (SurfCAM)
3.6 or moreyears of 4-Axis precision CNC Vertical Milling Machine Operation.
4.Experience using controlled drawings and work instructions.
5. Experience programming and running Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Milling Center.
6. Experience machining parts and holding critical dimensions.
7. A current DoD Secret Security Clearance
