The Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) Threat Modeling Center (TMC) is looking for you to join our team as an Engineer Human Factors serving in a User Experience (UX) Analyst role based out of Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

What You'll Get to Do:

The Threat Modeling Center is responsible for the development and delivery of high fidelity threat modeling products in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and MDA's Ballistic Missile Defense System. This position is for a UX Analyst supporting software development.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to understand both customer and end user requirements

  • Work with Agile Scrum teams to influence user stories and the design and modification of responsive and task-efficient user interfaces

  • Partner with researchers and designers to define and deliver new features, translate concepts into prototypes, and iterate on interactions and details to deliver the perfect experience.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level2 or a level 3.

  • For an Engineer Human Factors: 2 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's of Science degree; 0 Years with a Masters

  • For a Principal Engineer Human Factors: 5 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's of Science Degree; 3 Years with Masters

  • Interim Secret or higher DoD Secret clearance

  • Experience in developing adaptive and responsive UX/UI solutions for software development projects

  • A background in Agile software development

  • Must possess good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Proficient in Axure & Affinity design applications

  • Ability to develop and edit code in Java or C++

  • Experience with Whirlwind or Cesium environments

  • Understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S)

  • Understanding of the generation and use of missile threat data
  • Understanding of the Ballistic Missile Defense System
  • Current Final Secret clearance or higher
