Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the Department of Treasury's Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) program. This position is physically located in Northwest Washington, DC and allows for partial telework.

The candidate must have a good understanding of the languages and technologies of the Microsoft Power BI and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles. The candidate will work directly with the Federal team to design and develop applications from scratch, maintain and configure applications, create technical documentation, and conduct testing. Additionally, the candidate will troubleshoot application and system issues and provide user support. This position requires a self-starter and team player with solid verbal and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 9 Years experience OR Master's Degree with 7 Years experience (4 additional years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree)
2+ years of working with Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
2+ years of Power BI Report and Dashboard experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions
Experience in Data Modeling
Experience working with Microsoft SQL databases
Experience writing complex SQL queries, creating views, and developing stored procedures
Good understanding of data warehouse concepts
Experience in data analysis; understanding trends and patterns in data and creating insights
Experience in validating business requirements and translating them into technical design documents
Ability to independently organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple and changing priorities
Must be available to provide scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support
Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation security clearance
Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience administering SQL Server Databases
Experience working with T-SQL
Strong understanding of Power BI data gateway and dataflow
Experience with conversion of SQL Server 2012 reports to SQL Server 2016
Experience developing dimensional data models and SSAS cubes on SQL Server DB
Experience with business logic data validations
Experience working with large datasets
Familiarity with Azure platform services
