The Program Officeof an Advanced Program is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support Program Office Directors andmultiplesenior level managers.This position will be located inMelbourne, Florida.

The selected candidatewill beresponsible for providing diverse administrative support which involves interaction with internal and external customers, and exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, and discretion.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Managing multiple conference room calendars, includingscheduling andmaintenance of equipment
  • Scheduling meetings such ascorporate, sector, and division reviews for senior management and program staff
  • Coordination of all logistical support for internal/external meetings
  • Utilization ofvarious PC software packages to produce high quality reports, presentations or other documents
  • Collaborating with other administrative professionals in related organizations as appropriate
  • Demonstrating a wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of all aspectsof the job and the practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered
  • Routine administrative duties including: coordinating staff meetings andteleconferences, answering phones, screening calls, maintaining filing system, ordering office supplies, scheduling travel arrangements andpreparingexpense reports
  • Providing support of customer visit planning

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School graduate withsix (6)+years of administrative experience directly related to support of senior level executives
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (ability to create and manipulate deliverables utilizing the software)
  • Prior experience coordinating both on and offsite meetings and/or events while balancing fluctuating priorities
  • ActiveDoD Secret clearance that has been investigated within the past 5 years is required and the ability to obtain Special Program Access (PAR) prior to commencement of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated abilityto work with minimal supervision,prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, and managing schedule conflicts
  • Experience with Concur (or similar) travel and expense reporting system
  • Active Top Secret clearance w/ SCI eligibility that has been investigated within the past 5 years
