Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Senior Level Oracle Database Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, California, in the Rancho Bernardo area.

The selected candidate will maintain the Oracle database for a team of infrastructure engineers.

Essential Functions:
- Oracle OEM and all sub components (OMA, OMS, OMR)
- Zones, Global and VM
- Storage Array/RAID Configuration
- Patching - OEM, RAC, DB
- Database Containers (CDB/PDB)
- OEM COTS install and Licensing
- Hardware and software auditing capabilities
- Patching/Firmware
- Database Administration (DBA)
- WebLogic (or like web application server) deployment, configuration, maintenance
- Basic Infrastructure System Administration
- Basic scripting experience (Py, VB, bash, etc)
- Use of data center system health monitoring tools to detect and report IT problems
- Ansible or like lab system automation tools
- Compliance management
- Working with security requirements
- Development and Testing in lab environments



Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with 9 years of STEM related experience OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline with 7 years STEM related experience OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years experience.

- Active in-scope Top Secret security clearance, less than 4 years from next investigation and the ability to be accessed to a Special Access Program.

- Willing to travel appx. 10% within the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with version control such as Git.

- Ability to provide engineering technical support for peer teams.

- Ability to automate deployment and installation of databases and COTS software.

- Experience with the following: Sphinx, rest, YAML, Jinja.

- Familiar with Networking/Solaris/VMware/Windows/PHEL/Solaris.

- Software development experience.

- DoD IFC processes.

- Agile Project Management experience.

- ISSO/ISSM experience.
