The Space Systems Sector's Tactical Space Systems Division is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join the round System team.

This position is located in Dulles, VA.

Responsibilities may include the following:
• Manage and maintains secure, minimally-interrupted operations of Windows, Linux and/or virtualized environments.
• Support bare-metal and virtual machines; coordinating actions with peer system administrators, network administrators, security, software and Operations teams; devising, recommending, and implementing performance and reliability-enhancements, and automation solutions.
• Maintain, Monitor and Support automated CI/CD pipeline for development environments.
• Work with VMware VSphere cluster implementation and operations.
• Maintain Version Control (GIT), Build tools (Jenkins) Orchestrators (Ansibel, Chef, Puppet, Salt), Application/Web Servers (Apache Tomcat), Database (PostgreSQL), Logging/Monitoring tools.
• Install, harden and patch Windows/Linux operating systems
• May work in a command-line environment, creating/modifying shell scripts (ex: bash, perl, python), partition disks, create logical volumes, and create/mount Linux file systems.
• Develop and document technical procedures, install and configure COTS software, conduct security scans, mitigate vulnerabilities, develop and implement compliant solutions.
• Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists.
• Must be a Self-starter capable of working through daily tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to simultaneously support multiple networks.
• Work with data center infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
• Support Infrastructure automation by repackaging platforms, systems, and applications into reusable building blocks through the use of technologies such as virtual machines and containerization.


Basic Qualifications:
This position may be filled at a level 2 or 3 depending on the skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.

Level 2 Systems administration: Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience, Master's Degree and 1+ years of experience, 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Level 3 Systems Administrator: Bachelor's 6+ years of experience, Master's Degree and 4+ years of experience, 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI level clearance.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, and/or RHEL/Centos Linux 6.7+
• Certificate Authority experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possess an active or current Top Secret clearance.
• Confluence and Jira Administration experience
• Experience with deployment automation/configuration management tools such as (Ansible, Docker Container methods using orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Swarm, or Mesos.)
• VMWare Horizon, vSphere, vSAN, and or vCenter experience
• DAP experience with Microsoft Active Directory, OpenLDAP
• Continuous Integration with Jenkins, SonarQube, or Bamboo experience
• SVN and Git experience (Bitbucket preferable)
• PostgreSQL experience
• Nessus vulnerability scanning and configuration experience
• Familiarity / experience with MMSOC and EGS compliant Satellite ground systems and software
• CISSP or Security+ Certification
• Experience with nVidia Grid
• AWS experience (specifically EC2, S3, RDS, Amazon MQ)
• Agile EVMS experience with Jira
• Slack (ChatOps)
