B rief Description: Junior Software Engineer to support Threat Modeling Center (TMC) product line of the DE Task Order on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) program. The job location is at Schriever AFB, CO.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Be a member of an exciting mission of threat missile modeling.
  • Develop code in C++ or Java to develop tools that support our mission.
  • Member of a scrum team
  • Peer reveiw team code


  • Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree, 0 years of experience.
    • Must be proficient in C++, Java, or similar programming language.
    • Strong understanding of object oriented software development, basic understanding of Windows platforms.
    • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
    • Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
    • Currently have, or able to obtain, a DoD Secret Clearance.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in developing software in C++ or Java.
    • Experience in agile software development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
    • Knowledge/experience in several of the following: missile defense domain knowledge, command and control, and modeling and simulation development.
