Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking an Associate Programmer Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Seaside, CA and will become part of Northrop Grumman's DMDC program, where technology and teamwork come together.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Y ou will build and code data programs using SQL language (Oracle).
  • Heavy use of data, analysis and ability to understand the data to create programs.
  • Prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • May build and develop programs using additional languages such as SAS, Python and/or R.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Strong SQL experience in (ANSI or Oracle).
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and hold a Position of Public Trust clearance and CAC is required to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAS or R
  • Python
  • Department of Defense data knowledge or experience.
  • Capable of dealing with all levels of management, client executives, and client representatives.
  • Ability to organize material and complete writing assignment according to established standards regarding clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
  • Active Position of Public Trust clearance and CAC.
