You will be responsible for design and architecture of a multi-platformed virtualized environment. This will include collaboration with other organizations to evaluate, adopt and revise infrastructure as code products to include in the baseline of program computing areas. Leveraging DEVOPS / AGILE principles to develop and integrate automation techniques driving multi-OS deployments.

Duties will include:

  • Interaction with program technical leaders to determine hardware/software requirements.
  • Interfacing with Cyber Center of Excellence and providing technical leadership driving Infrastructure as Code techniques as needed.
  • Ancillary duties will include, but are not limited to: evaluation of vendor products, providing recommendations to purchase hardware and software, providing backup recovery, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, building of systems and computing asset management.
  • Architecting successful deployment of multi-platform virtualized environments
  • Applicant must be experienced in STIG configuration, classified processing, and security procedures.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of related experience; Master's Degree with 7 years of related experience
  • Experience with systems administration of Linux, and/or VMware
  • Experience managing a highly virtualized testing lab
  • Experience with DevSecOps techniques
  • Familiar with scripting language: Ansible, Python, bash/csh/tcsh scripting
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security+ certification
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance or SCI Clearance
  • Ability to obtain SAP Clearance
  • Highly energized self-starter with ability to enhance existing technical product roadmap


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in STEM
  • Software development experience in Java, C/C++
  • Experience with remote and local system deployments and managing across classification boundaries
  • Cisco networking to include routing, switching, and firewalls
  • Familiarity with NAS and SAN technologies (NetApp SAN, EMC SAN, HP NAS)
  • CISSP or Microsoft OS Certification
