Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a SIGINT Principal Intelligence Analysist (Level 3) or Senior Principal Intelligence Analyst (Level 4) based out of McClellan, CA in the Sacramento area.

What You'll get to Do:
The qualified applicant will join a technical team which supports programs ranging from Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) SIGINT payloads to mission/maintenance support to internal research and development efforts.

The SIGINT Analyst in this position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the design and integration of complex electronic systems into air and ground platforms, and support of DoD customers in the areas of signal collection, processing and full spectrum system operations and services. The primary NGC work location is in McClellan, CA. Occasional travel to other CONUS customer sites and test areas will be required

Responsibilities include:
  • System performance analysis and troubleshooting, interfacing with field representatives to provide feedback on current optimization efforts and upcoming software releases, and developing and updating performance analysis tools.
  • The ideal candidate will also gather customer feedback and periodically travel to customer sites to provide onsite technical support.
  • The candidate must work well with customers, contractor, and a multi-disciplined design team to ensure mission success.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.


This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Intelligence Analysist (Level 3):
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant SIGINT work experience; 4 years additional experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance

Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal Intelligence Analyst (Level 4):

  • Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of relevant SIGINT work experience; 4 years additional experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Well versed in Unix/Linux OS and file editing tools
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Jscript, HTML5, C++, MATLAB
  • Ground Station communications experience, with pre/post mission analysis of a complex SIGINT system
  • Familiarity with a wide range of COMINT signals
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of complex Systems Engineering experience with an emphasis in signal analysis
