Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for you to join our C2BMC team as a C2BMC OPS Trainer based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

What You'll Get to Do:

The ideal candidate must have the technical aptitude to become a System Expert in training system production, process and design on the team that develops the training program for the Ballistic Missile Defense Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) system. Prefer that the candidate possesses knowledge relating to C2BMC C2 systems, Learning Management Systems, and/or Adobe Captivate to build interactive performance training systems. Successful candidate will possess outstanding written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Have had previous experience in developing e-learning or simulation systems. Candidate must be good educator, a self-starting program solver with the ability to work with limited supervision.

  • Responsible for creating training materials (computer-based training, instructor guides, operator manuals, checks on learning), training the end users in software application operations, and missile defense C2 operations processes for C2BMC.
  • Interface with National Team functional areas to define and implement training plans and materials.
  • Identify and solve training issues.
  • Prepares plans, internal office communications, briefings and training material.
  • Responsible for representing the National Team and C2BMC to the user community, conducting training in the field, and conducting a train-the-trainer program.

10-25% Domestic & International travel required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • 6 years of experience and a Bachelors degree or 4 years of experience with a Master's degree.
  • An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience developing e-learning training using Adobe Captivate for web-based and/or computer-based training and simulation for a large-scale software intensive system.
  • Experience building interactive training for military C2 applications and simulation programs for a software intensive system.
  • Experience working in a diverse team environment with trainers and software developers, developing training lesson material, and performance laboratories.
  • Experience in adult education, SCORM ADL e-learning using Adobe Captivate.
  • Experience teaching command and control courses and previous experience with Missile Defense Command and Control is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working within C2BMC
  • Experience on the following tools: Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photo Shop, MS Office Suite and a background in e-learning/web development is a plus.
