Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Cyber Software Engineer/Cyber Operator in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Roles and Responsibilities:

You will provide support of operational system in customer facility.

Duties include:
  • Supporting operations during the week with possible on-call activity after hours and weekends.
  • Position requires software installation, troubleshooting of an installed software system, interaction with operators and analysts and identifying areas for improvement.


Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Software/Systems Engineering with Bachelor's in Science; 3 years with Masters; 0 years with PhD; or 9 years of experience without a degree
  • Active TS/SCI w polygraph
  • 2 years experience supporting Cyber DevOps
  • Proficient with scripting in Bash and Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash management
  • Experience in Linux networking (route, ip, ntp, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of git
  • Experience working in an operational setting
  • 2 years experience in Linux administration (patching, package install, service management, accounts, etc)
