Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for you to join our team as a
Senior Principal Systems Administrator based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

What you'll get to Do:

  • This position provides Windows system administrator (SA) support, including server/client installation, integration and Configuration of systems, as well as development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • The SA will work in a customer-owned facility on Schriever AFB
  • This is a day-staff position that may require infrequent after-hour duties as assigned by the SA team lead due to the
  • Nature of maintaining 24/7 information systems.
  • Install/configure Windows operating systems and software applications
  • Configure Windows OS security setting/parameters in accordance DISA security requirements
  • Install Windows OS security patches and antivirus software updates
  • Group Policy Management
  • Create/manage Windows user accounts and security groups
  • Manager password and Smartcard maintenance
  • Schedule and monitor data backups
  • Perform periodic inventory of assigned IT assets and update IT asset management databases
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software problems/issues
  • Create scripts to automate system administration tasks


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors with 10 years of experience; AA/AS Degree with 12 years of experience; 8 years with Masters, or 14 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Configure, administer, and maintain computer systems (Such as: Windows 7, Windows
  • 10, Server 2008 R2 Server 2012R2, Server 2016, Active Directory, etc...)
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance/access and be able to maintain clearance/access
  • Some travel required between Aurora, Boulder, & Colorado Springs, CO
  • Ability to make decisions that impact the organization's credibility, operations and services
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT level II approved certification (Security+ CE) or the ability to obtain an IAT level II certification within 90 days of start date.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT level II approved certification (Security+ CE)
  • Net Software development with Visual Studio
  • MS SQL Server development and administration
  • Load-balancing web servers
  • Cisco Call Manager
  • Cherwell ITSM
