Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Program Planning Scheduling Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Melbourne, Florida.

Essential Functions:

The selected candidate will drive the following activities on all Programs:

  • Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT milestone charts, EVM and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
  • Perform audits on divisional program deliverables, such as monthly CDRL submissions.
  • Serves as the division scheduling liaison to the Program Office and will lead the enterprise scheduling discussions at all program review meetings
  • Serves as a key scheduling interface between all functions on the program
  • The selected candidate will serve as the Cross Programs Subject Matter Expert and will lead discussions with the Executive Leadership Team related to scheduling impacts to division profitability targets.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with 14+ years combined experience in any of the following: Business Management, Program Scheduling, Program Planning, Acquisition Planner, Project Management, Program Management, or Production Scheduling OR
  • Master's Degree from an accredited university with 12+ years of combined experience in any of the following: Business Management, Program Scheduling, Program Planning, Acquisition Planner, Project Management, Program Management, or Production Scheduling.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office suite applications, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient with Milestones Professional or OnePager Pro.
  • Experience in schedule development in support of Proposal Preparation.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Project Schedule creation and management.
  • Experience in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs).
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance with full investigation within the last 6 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated the ability to create high level metrics and brief to executive, program and customer leadership
  • Experience with enterprise schedule development
  • Possess a mastery of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques compliant with ANSI/EIA-748 and the monthly submittal of contractually required electronic IMS data in accordance with DI-MGMT-81861 Format 6, sufficient to consistently satisfy the specified set of IMS quality criteria
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with SAP, Maximo, SharePoint, and MPM
