Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for a Quality Analyst for the Palmdale, CA facility.

The responsibilities include:

  • Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
  • Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
  • Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
  • Inspected the quality of the parts to ensure no visual damage
  • Able to operate the warehouse automated material handling systems along with SAP/WM
  • Handled the multiple program daily requests
  • Coordinated with production controllers to deliver parts off-site
  • Organized and presented monthly PMT meetings to team
  • Provides assistance to upper level management and coordinates with outside departments to ensure automated warehouse is functioning at optimal level required to do business
  • Ensures the performance of my team is high quality
  • Is the POC for all AGMS maintenance related issues; EMS application server
  • Recommends corrective action plans to avoid recurring inventory discrepancies
  • Organizes the daily and monthly schedule for direct team members
  • Interfaces with offsite programs to meet manufacturing, vendor, customer and sub-contractor requirements
  • Develops and implement desk top instructions for current and new team members utilizing SharePoint
  • Auditing experience by gathering inventory sheets to present to auditors
  • Processes reports to present for bi-monthly inventory audits
  • Conducts bi-weekly inventory consolidation transfer orders
  • Reviews and analyzes the weekly reports for inventory replenishments
  • Created quad charts for warehouse process improvements
  • Investigates problems team members are facing and adds the procedures to station booklets
  • Works directly with Quality Assurance for multiple stock purge requests


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of Military, Manufacturing, Quality or Inspection experience or minimum of 7 years of Military, Manufacturing, Quality or Inspection experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.

*Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint as well as t echnical presentation skills.

*Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance and program access as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Active Secret Clearance with an investigation date/periodic review within the last 5 years
