Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Global Supply Chain Project Manager 5 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will require ~50% travel but will be located at various remote sites.

The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong leadership skills to achieve sustainable top performance. They will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business.

The selected candidate will help drive GSC integration across multiple tiers of the Strike Supply Chain. They will focus on delivery assurance and drive process improvements to ensure alignment with program priorities.

The role will align deliverables to meet overall cost and schedule objectives; this includes, but is not limited to, delivery performance metrics, closed loop processes and schedule integration.

Essential Functions:
  • Leads supply chain Program execution with suppliers and is accountable for management of supplier projects inclusive of material forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution

  • Integrate GSC processes across multiple tiers of the Supply Chain

  • Provide visibility of staffing requirements

  • Conducts coordination meetings across functions and supply base

  • Supports program initiatives from a GSC standpoint (affordability, schedule optimization, etc.)
  • Assists with weekly metrics associated with specific suppliers

  • Acts as lead for the team with data integration and management


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience in Global Supply Chain and/ or Project Management; 12 years with a Master's degree;18 years with experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Working knowledge of SAP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Subcontracts and/or procurement experience

  • Technical knowledge or background
