We are seeking a Principal Financial/Cost Control Analyst to join our growing team of diverse professionals in Ogden, Utah.

This position is within the ICBM Sustainment organization that supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include (bot not be limited to):
  • Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assist in financial analyses (e.g., funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis).
  • Prepare program level balance sheet and income statements.
  • Prepare financial forecasting and reporting: profitability analysis, variance analysis, and cash flow and working capital analysis.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams including Global Supply Chain, Contracts, Pricing, and Program Management.
  • Handle subcontractor invoicing and funding.
  • Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review.
  • Review contractual documents.
  • Assist with contract negotiation.
  • Support of pricing and proposal activities.
  • Support Overhead Rate development and monitoring.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 4 years of related professional experience. An additional four years of experience accepted with a High School degree.
  • Experience in cost management, finance management, or pricing & estimating.
  • Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.
  • Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP Software, specifically Project Systems (PS) module
  • Experience collaborating with technical functions or a project/program.
  • Executive presentation skills.
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, conditional formatting, etc.).
  • Defense Industry experience.
  • Current CPA certification.
