Northrop Grumman Space designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

Responsibilities:
  • Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system (Earned Value Management).
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

  • Produce monthly customer reporting and internal monthly financials

Qualifications:

This requisition can be filled at the Program Cost Control Analyst and/or Principal Program Cost Control Analyst.

Basic Qualifications for Program Cost Control Analyst:
  • Minimum Education / Experience: 3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters. In lieu of a degree, additional related work experience can be considered.
  • Earned Value Management experience.
  • Must have contract finance and scheduling experience.
  • Must have an active Top Secret.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Program Cost Control Analyst:
  • Minimum Education / Experience: 6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters. In lieu of a degree, additional related work experience can be considered.
  • Earned Value Management experience.
  • Must have contract finance and scheduling experience.
  • Must have an active Top Secret.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • IPMR Formats 1-7
  • Aerospace experience.
  • Active TS/SCI
  • Deltek Cobra experience. (Deltek Microframe Program Manager experience will be considered
  • Costpoint and/or Cognos experience.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
