The Manager Programs 1 role will be located in Arlington, VA.


Position Description:

• Lead and manage project development from inception to deployment utilizing expertise in cybersecurity, cyber operations, Information Technology (IT)/communication and international business opportunities and/or projects.

• Directs all phases of projects from inception through completion.
• Responsible for the all financials, cost, schedule and technical performance of multiple projects or major tasks.

• Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple cybersecurity, information technology, communications and/or international business projects.

• Ability to drive performance in a team environment with responsibilities to assist in the development of new technologies to address cybersecurity challenges to include advanced visualization solutions, exfiltration detection modeling and analysis, malware detection, automated analysis and modeling, and sandbox analysis systems.

• Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.

• Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.

• Acts as primary customer contact for project/task order activities. Leads project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

• Develop a performance measurements framework and facilitate feedback system to team members on issues such as customer service, communication, and technical skills in order to enhance the quality of support delivered.

• Develop and demonstrate an understanding of customer and business needs.

• Resolve escalated customer, team mate, and vendor issues.

• Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact the team and overall business objectives.

• Maintain a high level of employee morale within the team by creating a high performance organization.

• Assist in the professional and technical development of team leaders; enabling them to set technical goals, monitor, mentor, coach and assist team members to deliver quality support.

• Assist the Department/Program Manager with the preparation and administration of departmental budgets, business plans and metrics.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications - To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years' related experience required.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance w/ SCI required. In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment and may be required to successfully complete the polygraph process.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.
• Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either a project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager.
• Demonstrated success leading teams/organizations to achieve a common goal.
