Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Survivability IPT Program Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This opportunity will be located in Melbourne, FL.

The Survivability IPT Program Manager will have overall responsibility and leadership of technologies and designs for STRIKE projects reporting to the STRIKE Division VP. Includes staying abreast of this technology with all government laboratories and the industrial supply base. Functions as the PM for the Survivability IPT responsible for EVMS, IMS and execution of the technical baseline. Responsible for survivability technology design, integration, manufacturing, test and sustainment for STRIKE. Coordination with the Director of Survivability Technologies Development and the Engineering Homeroom will be critical. Requires development of survivability strategy, in concert with all NGC stakeholders and the respective Program Mangers.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related professional experience within program management, proposal management, engineering, leadership, or a combination of these.
  • Must have 5 years' experience in either survivability technology development, survivability sustainment, survivability manufacturing, or a combination of these.
  • Must have at least 2 years' experience with EVMS, costing estimating, and DoD funding and budgeting.
  • Must have at least 2 years' experience with risk management.
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance with full investigation within the last 6 years.
  • Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Special Program Access (PAR)
  • 15 years of experience in survivability technology development and integration management
  • 5 years of experience in survivability manufacturing management
  • 5 years of experience in survivability sustainment management
  • 1 year of proposal experience (greater than $50M in contract value)
