Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Design Engineer for the System Test organization. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

This requisition is for a System Integration Lab Design engineer to support System Test Hardware-in-the-loop test platforms. The candidate will be part of a mixed team with mechanical and electrical designers, software developers and test engineers.

Responsibilities include hardware and software development, test, delivery, and support in response to various requirements. In this role, the candidate will interface with air vehicle and ground system teams, leveraging lower level design implementations in order to architect a system level design for testing at the system level. Ideal candidate will have prior experience with design/build/integration of test stations, interfacing and adapting COTS or custom hardware and software solutions, test automation, instrumentation and software tools/utilities.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
